On Dec 14 with the words “this is a farewell kiss from the Iraqi people, you dog!” an Iraqi journalist gave us the protest statement of 2009. Sadly, he was sentenced today.

So you’ve been on the march, got the t-shirt, or maybe the banner, but what difference has it really made?
Naomi Wolf makes some points about US freedoms, many of which apply to the UK also.
How big and how many protests are required for the government to bend to the will of the people of the state?
