15 Minutes of Footage

Footage of the attack on the Mavi Marmara that does not come from official Israeli sources is precious. Culturesofresistance.org smuggled out a full 15 minutes.

The footage above corroborates earlier video which shows that the attacking Israeli forces had a list (or possibly lists) of people.  At 5m 15s into the above video, a man removes a list from his pocket which he claims shows everybody who was on the Challenger 1 - a ship which was part of the flotilla.  This list appears to be the same one that was claimed to be a possible ‘death list’ that we blogged about previously.

There are currently claims and counter claims debating that the Israeli intelligence services did not do enough and that is why the boarding force for the Mavi Marmara was unprepared for the level of resistance they received.  But here we have irrefutable evidence that Israeli forces had lists of people involved.

The claims that the Mavi Marmara alone had terrorists or terrorist sympathisers aboard that Israel was unaware of does not seem to stand scrutiny, and neither does the fact that despite holding what they term to be terrorists, Israel has released the people from the Mavi Marmara although we should be aware that some passengers are still not accounted for.
