A humble thank you
We’ve noticed that we’ve been getting more reblogs on Tumblr and more followers on Twitter recently. Wow! Thanks you guys for the support.
We work as a small collective with no budget and we’ve just noticed that over on Twitter we have more followers and are listed more times than Conservative Friends of Israel (@CFoI), an organisation which although it does not publish public and transparent accounts, it is safe to assume is not short of either supporters or money. Or supporters with money.
Whilst we are a small collective, we see ourselves as part of the larger movement of solidarity with the Palestinians. This movement is increasingly using the internet and specifically social media tools to bypass traditional media in order to inform each other of events both faster and more in depth than traditional media dare, or care to.
We seek to add real context to debate and remove the distortions - wilful or accidental - of traditional media stymied by the need to turn a profit or support a particular agenda.
